Steve is a highly effective communicator, with a background in dairy and heifer ranch management, and has a proven record of maximizing on-farm profitability. His dairy experience began while growing up in the Central Valley of CA, in a vast array of positions on local dairies. Steve continued to flourish as a student manager of the dairy facilities at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Steve earned Bachelor of Science Degrees in Dairy Science and Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic State University. After graduating from Cal Poly, Steve began his career as a professional dairy manager. He managed a single site dairy and growing heifer feedlot for 10yearsbefore joining Pine Creek Nutrition Service. Steve joined Pine Creek in early2011, and became a partner in 2013. His ambition is to work closely with dairy producers, their families, and support staff to meet their individual and industry goals. Steve excels in the “art” of molding Nutrition formulation with on-farm Nutrition Management practices to maximize on-farm efficiencies and margins.
